RSA/Jockey Club Racecourses Syndicate Days Announced

The RSA is delighted to advise that the smaller Jockey Club Racecourses have offered to arrange a series of “Syndicate Showcase” days at their courses throughout 2024.

The following courses will be holding events:

Wincanton – Wednesday 27th March – jumps fixture
Huntingdon – Thursday 25th April – jumps fixture
Carlisle – Monday 10th June – flat fixture
Nottingham – Tuesday 16th July – flat fixture
Warwick – Thursday 3rd October – jumps fixture
Exeter – Tuesday 22nd October – jumps fixture
Market Rasen – Thursday 14th November – jumps fixture

Each raceday will be RSA branded and promoted by JCR as part of their commitment to promoting shared ownership. You will notice that the first event is in late March, so please read the details below and act promptly to get involved.

RSA members are offered the following opportunities at each race day:

1 – All members are invited to exhibit at any or all of the events. You can exhibit free of charge if you bring your own gazebo. There may be internal space options or opportunities to hire a gazebo at some events. If you would like to exhibit or you would like to find out more about what will be available at a specific event, please contact Tommy Williams ([email protected]).

2 – All members are invited to sponsor a race on any race day for a discounted rate of £300 + VAT. This will include naming the race, a full-page advert in the race card, ten general admission tickets if you do not have a runner on the day and race presentations before & after the race. If you would like to sponsor a race at any of the events, then please contact Tommy Williams ([email protected]) who will then put you in touch with the relevant sponsorship co-ordinator at each course.

3 – All RSA members with a runner on one of the race days will be offered an extended badge allowance with full O&T benefits. The exact number will depend on the course and the number of runners on the day.

4 – There will be a bonus of £1000 available to RSA members across the seven race days. Syndicates will earn 10 points for a runner and 2 bonus points for a winner and the RSA member with the most points on 15th November 2024 will win the bonus.

We are grateful to the courses for making the opportunity available and we would encourage all members to support these events by exhibiting, sponsoring and having runners at the syndicate race days.
