With The Platinum Queen at The Breeders Cup yesterday with all the glitz, glamour and fanfare that generates, it’s also important to remember just how important syndicate horses are to the structure and success of UK racing every single day of the week – and that for many syndicates the feeling of getting a winner is just as big no matter where or when the race is run. It’s something that we are told time and again by syndicate owners.

We were delighted to be contacted by John Webb, manager of All Seasons Racing who was kind enough to send us details and pictures from Ludlow on Thursday where their Presuming Ed won the Vera Davies Memorial Novices’ Handicap Chase trained by Adam West and ridden by Lee Edwards

We’re absolutely delighted for John and his team, and of course for connections who, judging by the photos had a fantastic day

It’s exactly what being in a well-run syndicate is all about – and whilst racehorse co-ownership is about sharing the highs and lows – the highs make it all worthwhile!
