Warwick provided gazebos for RSA members to showcase their offerings on the teardrop lawn located between the paddock and the main grandstand with racegoers passing by all afternoon and stopping to chat with the RSA members in attendance.
New memberships and shareholding were sold on the afternoon and many racegoers took leaflets and materials from the syndicate managers as well as availing themselves of free sweets, hats and pens from the various stands!
David Letts from Great British Racing was in attendance to provide racegoers with details of the In The Paddock website and GBR also sponsored a race which meant that David was able to encourage more people to come and find out about shared ownership.
On the track RSA member Raceshare went close to having a winner when their runner, Marlacoo, was third in a close finish to the opening race.
There are two more syndicate showcase fixtures completing this series and they take place at Exeter on Tuesday 22nd October and at Market Rasen on Thursday 14th November. These events are the last two opportunities for RSA members to compete for the frequent runner prize that is on offer across the series of events in 2024 and represent two more chances for racegoers to come along and find out what a great experience can be had from joining a syndicate or racing club.
The RSA would like to thank our hosts at the various Jockey Club Racecourses for their hard work in putting these race days together throughout the year.
