The Racehorse Syndicates Association (RSA) is excited to announce the inaugural Syndicate Management Conference which will take place at Warwick Racecourse on Wednesday 22nd January 2025.
This conference is free to delegates from RSA member syndicates and racing clubs but is also open to all commercial syndicate and racing club managers operating in the UK.
Running from 10am to 4pm including a buffet lunch, the conference will provide syndicate and racing club managers the opportunity to network with industry colleagues and to hear presentations from Harry Williams from the British Horseracing Authority and from Louise Norman from the Racehorse Owners Association.
Harry Williams (British Horseracing Authority) – Syndicate Licensing and Regulation.
Louise Norman (Racehorse Owners Association) – The role of the ROA in supporting syndicates and racing clubs.
Henry Taylor, Head of Weatherbys Racing Bank – Changes to Weatherbys regulations and account rules for Syndicates and Clubs.
Panel session: Nadia Powell (The Jockey Club), Tabitha Killingbeck (The Racecourse Association) and Rebecca Davies (Arena Racing Company) are joining RSA Chairman Dan Abraham for a round table discussion on The Raceday Experience for syndicates and racing clubs. The panel will answer questions and take feedback from syndicate and club managers on their racecourse experience.
Davina Grewal (Racehorse Owners Association) – the ROA VAT solution and VAT implications for syndicates.
David Catlow, Managing Director, Retraining of Racehorses – the role of Retraining Of Racehorses.
The RSA AGM will also be incorporated into the Conference.
Delegates can sign up for the conference using the link below. One free delegate is welcomed from each RSA member syndicate or racing club with additional places available at a cost of £100 per delegate. Syndicate and racing club managers who are not RSA members can sign up to attend at the same rate.
